Ceramic infrared heating elements are efficient, durable products that emit long wavelength infared radiation. Ceramic infrared resistors are used in many different industrial and engineering applications, to give a few examples; thermoforming pans, packaging industry, paint curing and drying, printing drying, preheating etc. In addition, they are also used effectively in outdoor heating and infrared saunas.
Ceramic elements operate in the temperature range of 300°C to 700°C and produce infrared waves in the range of 2-10 microns. Many plastic materials and other materials absorb wavelengths in this range very well, so ceramic infrared resistors have become the most popular infrared source.
Heat transfer is quite good thanks to its large surface. Can be produced as Fe-Const or Ni-CrNi thermocouple
